A lovely 2020 Squier Classic Vibe ’50s Telecaster, finished in the timeless Butterscotch Blonde with a black pickguard and maple fingerboard.
The Classic Vibe series has earned a great reputation for capturing the look, feel and character of vintage Fender instruments at a much more accessible price point, and this is a particularly nice example.
One thing that immediately stands out on this guitar is the maple neck, which has some really attractive natural flame figuring running through it. It's not something you see to the same degree on every Classic Vibe and gives this particular guitar a little extra character.
The traditional Telecaster setup gives you two single-coil pickups with 3-way switching, delivering everything from bright, cutting bridge tones through to warmer neck sounds. Vintage-style hardware and the Butterscotch/black combination finish off the classic ’50s-inspired look.
This example is in very good overall condition and has been professionally checked and set up.
There is a finish crack originating around one of the pickguard screw areas, which has been clearly photographed. Inspection indicates that this is confined to the finish and does not extend into the wood or affect the structural integrity, playability or performance of the guitar. It is purely something worth noting cosmetically and has been taken into account when assessing the condition.
