Finished in Vintage White, this model features an incredibly lightweight Empress (Paulownia) body, a premium tonewood traditionally used in Japanese instrument making. Revered for its exceptional resonance and featherweight characteristics, Empress allows the guitar to deliver classic Telecaster snap and clarity while remaining remarkably comfortable to play. Most examples weigh under 7 lbs, making it one of the lightest USA Telecasters Fender has ever produced.
Powered by a pair of Original Hot Tele single-coil pickups with Alnico III magnets, it delivers everything from crisp country twang to blues, indie and classic rock tones, with slightly more warmth and output than a traditional vintage-spec Telecaster.
This example is presented in as-new condition and has barely been out of its case since new. It still retains its original Fender hang tags, original case candy, paperwork, and original Fender tweed hard case, making it an exceptional collector-grade example that would be difficult to better.
